The impact of Dr. Elie Karouny
Dr. Karouny left a lasting impression on friends, relatives, colleagues, patients and people in need. Accounts preserved on the original website describe his medical care, generosity and the way he shared cultural, scientific, religious and artistic ideas with those around him.
Events after his death
Following his death, his family continued to preserve and publish his writings. The Sword Will Not Fall from My Hand appeared in 1999, followed by Light from the Heaven in 2005. These publications became part of the wider archive through which his family shared his work and memory.
A living archive
The photographs, video testimonies, audio recordings and written recollections collected over the years are being reorganized here into a durable Django-based archive that can be maintained independently of the original Joomla installation.
